Check your own tires and rims

The table assumes an 8 kg bike and equal front and rear tire widths. Luggage, tire construction, rim width and wet conditions are not personalized. Always check tire and rim pressure limits, including hookless limits. Test an adjustment on an easy ride.

Frequently asked questions

My weight is not in the table. What should I do?

Enter your own weight in the calculator. You can also adjust your tire widths, bike weight and surface. Do not round a table value as if it were specific to your bike.

Why are tubeless and inner tubes listed separately?

The calculator uses tire setup as an input. An inner tube generally needs more pressure with the same inputs to reduce pinch-flat risk. Also consider the limits of your own tire and rim.

Is this the right pressure for every ride?

No. These are calculated starting points, not a measured recommendation for your tires. Check the assumptions and test grip and comfort. Use the calculator for a different surface or tire width.
